ELLE TENS 2

Elle TENS 2 is specially designed to support mums with childbirth labour pain and post-natal needs. The Elle TENS 2 unit is highly effective and easy to use that will leave you calm, empowered and in control during labour.  

The Elle TENS Plus device has pre-set settings. It allows mums to feel empowered, in control and comfortable during labour. Using the unique integrated boost button during labour an extra surge of electrical pulses amplifies your body’s natural pain blocking ability to get you through each contraction comfortably.  

The Elle TENS Plus unit further has a built in contraction timer which makes it so easy to keep track of contractions during labour. 

How it works?

Obi TENS is a Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation (TENS) device designed for labour. Through electric nerve stimulation it provides drug-free pain relief to support a natural birth. 

Boost and Burst modes?

During the early stages of labour the burst mode introduces electric nerve stimulation which feels like a pulsing, tingling sensation which alternates during labour. The Elle Tens has two burst modes. 

The first mode helps to promote those all-important natural pain-killing chemicals known as ‘endorphins’ and ‘encephalins’. The first burst mode is generally used during early stages of labour with the second burst mode used when contractions become more frequent.

When contractions begin to take place you can press the boost button to receive an extra surge of tingling power to combat pain during contractions. The first boost is used in the early stages of labour, the second when the contractions become stronger and more frequent.

The Elle TENS 2 also has a Contraction Timer. This measures the duration of your contractions and once the contraction has passed and the Boost Button is released, the unit will trigger the ‘Between Contraction Timer’ which measures the time between contractions.
